I am a caring, compassionate, therapist, helping people to overcome difficulties in their life. From depression and anxiety to relationship issues, low self-esteem, and everyday life stresses. I aim to help people improve the quality of their lives by promoting self-awareness and understanding, and by identifying and addressing any unhelpful behavioural patterns and/or self-defeating attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs. I believe building a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship is essential to a positive therapeutic experience.
Tailoring my way of working to suit you and your needs as an individual, we would meet each week, for 50 minutes to explore any pressing concerns, complex problems, or ongoing unresolved issues you are facing in your life right now.
We may agree to meet for a time-limited period and/or review progress after a set number of sessions.
As an academic, I work with a range of organisations interested in evidence-based global mental health. I am passionate about ensuring research is accessible and relevant to inform policy and practitioner decision-making. If you would like to know more about my knowledge translation and evidence synthesis portfolio please contact me for further details.
By setting clear goals around your aspirations and needs, we would meet every two weeks, to explore and chart your progress to living a more fulfilling life, as decided by you. Drawing on a range of evidence-based coaching strategies, we would work together to embed new habits, to create and enhance the life you want.
